Get ready to hit the slopes, besties because skiwear brand Perfect Moment just teamed up with sustainable denim brand DL1961 for a cool new capsule collection. Trust me when I say you’re about to be the best-dressed person on the mountain.
The six-piece line of sustainable denim skiwear (including puffer jackets, ski pants, and a truly fabulous jumpsuit) is available to shop from both DL1961 and Perfect Moment with prices ranging from $570 to $1,150.
Each piece is made with a water-resistant wax coating to keep you dry while out on the slopes. Add to that, each piece is made with comfort-stretch technology, meaning it’ll feel like you’re skiing in your favorite part of perfectly worn-in jeans.
“When I was a teenage skiing obsessive growing up in Switzerland, all the cool kids who could ski really well skied in denim,” Perfect Moment’s creative director Jane Gottschalk shared in a press release. ” When I met the founders of DL1961 and learned about their incredible vertically-integrated technology, I knew we had found the right partner to help us bring denim back to the slopes in a way that was sustainable and would keep our customers warm and dry at the same time.”
And it seems DL1961 was up for the challenge. “Through a rigorous sampling and testing process and truly collaborative effort, we really feel that we brought Jane’s vision to life of bringing denim back to the slopes,” Sarah Ahmed, creative director at DL1961 said in the release.
Whether you’re planning an action-packed trip to the slopes in Vermont, going international with a bucket-list vacay to the alps, or you’re just getting ready to live vicariously via the best skiing movies, you’ll wanna be wearing pieces from this new collection.
